Photo shows Issuer Awareness Forum with officials from the Securities & Exchange Commission, Colombo Stock Exchange, Registrar of Persons and the National Chamber officials at the Session. 

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka  in association with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC)and Colombo Stock Exchange(CSE) held an Issuer Awareness Forum on “DEBENTURES : CAPITAL WITHOUT COLLATERAL “ on  29 May 2014 at the National Chamber Auditorium.

The speakers from Securities Exchange Commission, Colombo Stock Exchange and Dept of Registrar of Companies, highlighted the benefits to SMEs through the capital market  and about the new initiatives taken by them to reach out to the SMEs in Sri Lanka. A panel discussion was also held to illustrate some aspects of the proposed initiatives.

Chamber was represented by the Senior Deputy President of National Chamber Mr. Thilak Godamanna, who chaired the meeting along with Secretary General/CEO of the National Chamber Mr. Bandula Dissanayake.
