National Chamber  Sends a Delegation to India Engineering Show

A delegation consisting of 31 members from the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka visited India’s largest International Engineering Sourcing Show (IESS) from 22 to 24 January 2014, held at the Bombay Exhibition centre in Mumbai, India.The event was organized by theDepartment of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry,Government of India and EEPC India (Engineering Export Promotion Council of India).

                  The delegation was led by Mr. Sujeeve Samaraweera, Deputy President – NCCSL & Managing Director of Atlas Logistics Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and was coordinated by Mr. Buddika Mallawaarachchi, Senior Assistant Secretary General – NCCSL. Many foreign delegates from over 50 countries participated at the Exhibition.There were around 300 stalls. Sectors covered were Automotive Components, Subcontracting & Industrial Supplies, Industrial & Electrical Machinery and Technology Research & Development.
