Seminar on ‘Central Bank  Exchange Rate Policy & other Facilities’

National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka in association with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka held a seminar on Exchange Rate Policy,Treasury Bills/Treasury Bonds   and Facilities available  for Business Development ”on  28 January 2016  at the National Chamber Auditorium.

The objective of the seminar was to highlight how the Central Bank of Sri Lanka could help to improve  business opportunities and assist the business community to make correct decisions with the latest procedures  of   Central  Bank. Four Resource Persons  from  the Central Bank of Sri Lanka gave presentations  on the following topics on “Exchange Rate Policy and Foreign Reserves Management,”  “Economic Outlook and Growth Potential,” and  “Investments in Treasury Bills and Treasury Bonds“The Role of Central Bank of Sri Lanka in promoting SMEs in Sri Lanka”  and  different loan schemes available for SMEs.

A Panel Discussion followed  the session where participants were free to find out more information with regard to the above areas. It was a well attended seminar.
