Seminar on “Tax Amendments 2014” in progress

A half day seminar on “Tax Amendments 2014” was held on 29 April 2014 at the Chamber Auditorium. Topics discussed were tax amendments on Budget proposals for 2014, Income Tax, VAT & SVAT, NBT, and Economic Service Charge & Other Taxes. The resource persons were Ms.Dhammika Gunathileke, Senior Commissioner of Inland Revenue, Mrs Deepani Herath, Senior Commissioner of Inland Revenue and Mr H B A Seneviratne, Former Deputy Commissioner General of Inland Revenue. A Q & A Session was also held at which the participants raised many queries regarding tax issues faced by them.
