A senior official, representing the World University Service of Canada (WUSC) Mr Timothy Edward, visited the Chamber on 21 November 2014 and had discussions with the Secretary General of the Chamber, Mr Bandula Dissanayake. WUSC is involved in the vocational training related development programs to improve skills and socio economic conditions of Sri Lankans and are looking at the possibility of establishing a working relationship with NCCSL to partner in the ASSET (Advancing Specialized Skills for Economic Transformation) project from 2015 to 2019.
