A seminar on “Labour Laws and Employment” was held on 26 March. Some of the areas discussed were Shop and Office Employees Contract, Wages Board Ordinance, Contract of Employment Disciplinary Procedures etc. The resource person was Mr P S Pathirana, Additional Commissioner General of Labour and Senior Legal Advisor, Dept of Labour. It was a well attended seminar.
