National Chamber Hosts a high level Business Delegation from China

A 39 member business delegation from China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) of Guangzhou, participated at a Business & Investment Forum to meet their counterparts in Sri Lanka at the Chamber Auditorium on 3 July 2015 commencing with a networking lunch. At this event, a MOU was also signed between China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) of Guangzhou and the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka signaling a new opening for Sri Lanka-China bilateral relations at business to business levels. The Hon. Minister of Industry & Commerce Rishad Bathuideen graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Senior officials from Export Development Board, Dept of Commerce and BOI made presentations at the Forum. It was well attended by many leading Company representatives who participated at the B2B sessions.
