At the inaugural General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Bangladesh Business Co-operation Council held at the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka on Friday 8th April 2011, the following office bearers were elected. His Excellency Mahbub Uzzaman, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh graced the occasion. His Excellency and Mr Asoka Hettigoda are Patron Members of the Sri Lanka Bangladesh Business Co-operation Council (SLBBCC) The office bearers elected to the Council are :Mr Asela de Livera, President, Mr Thilak Godamanna, Deputy President, Mr. Sarath Wickramarachchi, Deputy President, Mr. Sujeeva Samaraweera Hony. Secretary and Mr. Sarath de Silva ,Hony. Treasurer.
