The National Chamber was the co organizer of the “Vietnam – Sri Lanka Business Forum” held at Hotel Taj Samudra on 14th October 2011 in concurrence with the visit of H.E. Truong Tan Sang, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Sri Lanka, accompanied by a high powered business delegation from Vietnam. The other co-organizers were the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and the Sri Lanka Vietnam Business Council. The delegation from Vietnam comprising of 45 businessmen held one to one business meetings after the official session which was graced by the President of Vietnam.
