A seminar on “Investing in Shares” was held on 31 July 2013 in the afternoon hours at the chamber boardroom. The resource person was Mr Nishantha Hewavithana, Manager Research of Colombo Stock Exchange who briefed the participants on how the Stock Market works the purpose of the share market, investing in listed securities, benefits and pitfalls/precautions  when investing on shares.
